 العوامل المؤثرة على مناخ قارة أمريكا الشمالية :
1) موقع القارة بالنسبة لدوائر العرض .

* ما النتائج المترتبة على :
 امتداد القارة بين دائراتى عرض 15 ْ شرقاً , 82 ْ شمالاً .
 وقوع معظم القارة فى المنطقة المعتدلة ما عدا :
أ ) الأجزاء الشمالية تقع فى المنطقة الباردة لمرور الدائرة القطبية الشمالية .
ب) الأجزاء الجنوبية تقع فى المنطقة الحارة لمرور مدار السرطان .
 امتداد المرتفعات الغربية من الشمال للجنوب ؟.
 تعرض السهول الوسطى لنوعين من الرياح :
أ ) شمالية باردة قادمة من جهة القطب الشمالى " شتاءاً " .
ب) جنوبية دافئة قادمة من جهة الجنوب " صيفاً " .
 عدم وصول الرياح الممطرة القادمة من المحيط الأطلنطى والهادى داخل القارة .


 ذلك بسبب : الرياح الجنوبية الشرقية الممطرة التى تتوغل فى وسط القارة صيفاً .
